As the COVID-19 vaccine rolls out, scams will roll out too.

You may receive a call, text or email asking you to pay for a vaccine, book an appointment or even fill in your personal details for a spot in the queue.

Although they can look legitimate, they're a scam designed to steal your credit card information and personal information.

The NZ government will provide the optional vaccine for free and will announce it officially when it's available.
