Member ID

Ongoing Customer Due Diligence is an obligation that we must enforce to be compliant with the law and therefore First Credit Union will regularly request for up to date ID from our members.

First Credit Union has partnered with Cloudcheck Verify as an online verification tool for IDs such as NZ Passport, NZ Drivers Licence, NZ Birth Certificate and NZ Citizenship Certificate. 

All front-line staff and lending consultants that onboard new or potential members,  order a Mastercard debit card or conduct a lending transaction (including temporary overdrafts) as per our Lending Process are expected to verify members’ ID through Cloudcheck Verify.

Please do not take offence should we ask for ID even if you have provided it before.
