From 01 January 2021 we will be cheque free!
With improvements being made to our Mobile and Internet Banking products we have noticed that the demand for cheques- as a payment option or deposit has decreased dramatically. As such, from 01 January 2021 we will no longer accept cheques or write a cheque from members accounts.
Making payments and receiving funds electronically is a faster, safer and more convenient way for our members to manage their accounts and it’s free!
Our team are here to help you with this transition, and we have the following products you can continue to use:
View account balances, transfer money, pay bills, review and print your transactions, view and load automatic payments.
Mobile Banking App
Access accounts on the go, view account balances and transaction history, transfer funds between your accounts, add automatic payment and make bill payments.
The First Credit Union Mastercard Debit Card works like an eftpos card, using money from your everyday account, but can also be used online or over the phone to make payments. The First Credit Union Mastercard Debit can be used anywhere you see the Mastercard or EFTPOS logo.
If you regularly send money to an organisation/ person you can set up an automatic payment to come out of your First Credit Union account.
