Notice is hereby given that a Special General Meeting of First Credit Union will be held on 28 February 2024 at 111 Collingwood St, Hamilton, commencing at 9:00am.

The purpose of the meeting is to seek members’ approval for the appointment of a qualified auditor for the financial year.

Days prior to our 2023 Annual General Meeting, we were advised by our auditors (BDO Wellington) that they no longer had capacity to do First Credit Union's annual audit. The Audit and Risk Committee went to market to find a suitable audit partner.

After some deliberation, the decision has been made to appoint PwC as our audit partner- subject to members' approval at the Special general Meeting.

PwC is a tier 1 auditor, with proven experience globally and have a branch in Hamilton which will make for a more frictionless audit process.
